K9 Connection Dog Training was born out of a personal mission to help owners navigate complex behavioural challenges. When Kat's German Shepherd, Kaiser developed severe dog reactivity, finding professional, effective support felt nearly impossible. This struggle inspired Kat and Lisa to study canine behaviour in depth. Today, they leverage that expertise to restore hope and deliver practical solutions for families who feel they have nowhere to turn.
Having successfully rehabilitated three dogs rescued from behavioural euthanasia, we firmly believe that behavioural challenges should not cost a dog its life. With the right training, structure and support.
Our Training
Initial Training Package - $400

Includes 2x training sessions.

Marker Training - Using key words to mark behaviours.

Sit - This teaches the dog to conduct a sit and hold the position when left.

Loose Lead Walking - This teaches the dog to check in with the owner when tension comes on the lead.

Recall - Confidently calling your dog back to you.

Key behavioural issues - Applying the new training style to key issues such as barking, jumping or reactivity.
The initial sessions look to build a foundation for the dogs to reliably follow obedience commands and trusting the owner in challenging situations. Initial sessions are usually conducted at your home and run for 1.5hrs.
First session includes a free training halter or collar & free ongoing access to our members page with videos and everything we teach.
The initial training package allows both owner and dog the best chance to take training methods on board. Sessions are usually 2 weeks apart to allow time to practice. Individual follow-on sessions can be booked after if required.
